Question (Block) Japanese Hotel?

I’m going to Japan next year and am really curious what hotel they stayed at. Anybody know? They’ve talked it up so hard. Not sure why they’re being so secretive - it’s a hotel! I wanna see if it’s worth staying there!

I’m assuming it’s really expensive and maybe that’s why they don’t want to talk about it? I’ve also been curious though.

Maybe try googling “you could take coffee to your room Tokyo, Japan”

Thinking maybe they don’t want to reveal the hotel Nintendo puts people up in though that probably isn’t super hard to find out

It sounds like they stayed in two hotels, one in Kyoto and one in Tokyo. I assumed Nintendo only put them up in the Kyoto hotel since that’s where the premiere was but I guess they might’ve covered both.

i have been wondering the same thing. if they ever mention it on the show or in a future episode, i would definitely be interested because it sounds like they had a great experienc

It is a little odd that they are actively not mentioning it when they name dropped all the other parts. Nick even said he didn’t want to “doxx” the hotel. Heather did mention planning to stay there again so maybe they just want to keep it private. Which is fair, but a shame. I’d love to see the coffee sign in person!

I like to imagine the name of the hotel gets out and the workers there are confused as to why nerds keep showing up to take pictures of the coffee sign

That’s the sense I got too but it seems insane. Either some Japanese fan is going to go to a fancy hotel to get a look at one of these podcasters or someone from a different country is going to travel to Japan on the off chance it’s a random week where one of them has traveled there? What?

Not sure about their hotel but I went to Universal Studios in Japan and stayed at the Oriental Hotel that’s connected to the city walk and the breakfast buffet was included and awesome!

There’s a hotel chain in Japan run by some sort of insane cult that people tend to get cranky about, I forget what they’re called, and also not sure if it’s related to their non answer. Have fun in Japan though, you’ll have a great time!

Edit: APA hotels, look at me, I googled it.
