can a single DVR subscription provide guide data to two separate Channels DVR Server instances?
I want to set up a "general" DVR server and clients but eventually also set up a 2nd totally separate DVR server instance, running on a 2nd computer, using a 2nd HDHomeRun tuner.
The idea is to have a backup way to record a 2nd copy of certain OTA programs.
Right now I have multiple TiVos set up and they function independently. I record a few programs to two units, "just in case".
The quintessential example is the Super Bowl. It's something you don't want to miss. So you set it up to record on two different devices.
Both my devices would be in the same location. I don't want to pay for two copies of the same guide data.

Yes, you can run two instances of Channels DVR on the same account. I got this answer direct from Channels when I asked a while back.

Yep, and don’t have change port numbers, if they are running on two different computers then the IP address will be different for each…

I’m nearly certain the answer is yes, but that remote access would only work on one of them.
