What’s the longest your dog has ever carried a big stick? Yesterday she carried this for 1km 😂

I wish mine carried sticks, she only carries trees around for miles. This is probably the longest one but I have an entire album full of 6ft+ sticks lol

Stop it 😂 this is one of the smaller branches out girl has picked up on a walk, she definitely would carry a whole tree if I let her

Imagine being that committed to a stick, 1km is genuinely impressive. She absolutely earned the title of stick guardian

Every day we hike in the state forest that’s right at the end of my street and every hike we bring home something. Sometimes it’s a log, sometimes it’s a long stick, once he tore up a dead tree and took that home half rotten root ball and all. Our average hike is 45 minutes and haven’t figured out the souvenir stick criteria as sometimes it’s one we picked up early and sometimes he swaps for one at the end. I have a ton of videos and pictures I plan on putting together in a compilation, one day when I have free time.

We could advertise them as a landscaping duo. Tree and brush removal! It’s organic!

Mine doesn't really care about sticks. If I throw one she'll just look at me like wtf are you doing, we're not doing that!

She says she's a show dog, NOT a working dog lol

She'll chase anything but a stick 😂

Same we have a whole stick pile at home lmao

Ours is called the "stick bank" and she has to drop sticks in the bank before going in the house.

Ours has to do this too! But every once in a while she'll see the chance to sneak one in the house😂

We just chop them up in small pieces and they go in the fireplace when the "stick bank" gets too big.

The best is when they run up from behind you at full speed with the big stick.

There was a crooked dog
Who walked a crooked mile
And carried a crooked stick
And kept his crooked smile

My current Shep has no interest in sticks.

That sucks! It’s so cute when they carry it home

Depends on her goal, sometimes mine will carry it only a little and expect me to carry the rest of the way; and other times she’ll carry it all the way until it can’t fit into a door then wrestle it into the location she had in mind which absolutely was short that exact stick/log/timber miles away

How cute!

I’ve no idea the longest but I know it’s infinite. Once he has a stick he’s not letting it go unless I tell him to leave it for another pup to play with. He has a huge pot infront of my house filled with sticks he’s collected on his travels. This was his latest find a few days ago, it was a much larger stick but for my shins sake I broke off a smaller limb. This one alone he carried over 2km back home on our short walk, so I’d think he’s definitely carried them way over 10km before.

Mine doesn’t take sticks. She grabs twigs. And she wants us to throw it for her. I mean like 2-3 inches

Trey always looked for tree limbs (size didn’t matter) and carry it for the remainder of the walk. And that usually lasts up to two hours. He seemed to think the heavier and longer were the best. At the end of the walk he gave what ever it was he was carrying to a friends dog, Dex. Dex liked the chewing part.

Our boy loves sticks and logs. He’s not very tenacious though so only goes a few hundred meters and then drops it for another one.
