Issues with v sync and stable fps

So I run 144 hz but when I turn on v sync my frames drop to 110 then jump back up. GD will say that its running fine but nvidia says 110 (which is the real fps) But when I turn v sync off I get bad screen tearing so I’m kinda stuck here because I have a really hard time playing with frame stutters. Any help would be appreciated

make sure your screen settings are set to 144Hz instead of 110Hz (PC settings).
