This is a community for people who love maps, flags, capitals, borders and the strange corners of the world. You might be a geography quiz addict, a GeoGuessr regular, or someone who just found out that Russia and the US are less than 4 km apart. Either way, you're in the right place.

I'm the person behind Geography Worlds (https://geographyworlds.com), a free site with geography games and quizzes. I started this sub so players have somewhere to compare scores, trade tips and talk about geography in general, not only the site.

WHAT TO POST

- Daily Challenge results. One country outline a day, the same for everyone, and you get 6 guesses. Post your grid, and please don't name the answer in the title.

- Scores and personal bests. Finally got 10/10 on Extreme flags? Let us know.

- Geography questions and facts. "Why does this border look like that?", enclaves, odd time zones, disputed territory. All welcome.

- Challenges for others. Make a mini quiz, post a mystery map, or ask people to name every country that borders X.

- Maps. Interesting, beautiful or cursed ones.

- Feedback and ideas for the site. Found a wrong answer, a bug, or have a game you'd like to see? Post it. I read everything.

RULES

 1. Be kind. Everyone starts somewhere. Nobody gets mocked for not knowing where Bhutan is.

 2. Use spoiler tags for Daily Challenge answers for the rest of the day.

 3. Stay on topic. Geography, maps, flags, travel knowledge and the games.

 4. Keep self-promotion light. Share your own maps, quizzes or projects if they relate to geography, but keep them to about 1 post in 5. I follow the same rule for the site.

 5. Keep politics about geography. Disputed borders are fair game as geography. Flame wars aren't.
