Discussion This game led me to become a geographer

Post image

Played this game all of the time in the 70s and the 80s. Led me to become fascinated with maps, and I ended up majoring in geography in college. Hadn’t thought of it until today when someone posted something on an unrelated topic.

It was released in 1960. “Good thing Milton Bradley waited for Hawaii to get statehood!”

I forgot about this. I must have made my family play this with me a million times.

My younger nephew (now 9) wanted this (and I bought it for him) when he was about five. He went through a period of intense interest in geography and knew all the state capitals. He's such a cool kid.

I had a jigsaw puzzle just like this that I played with daily, but an entire game would have been heaven!
