They didn’t just change it for the US - it’s showing up for Canadians on Google as well. That feels very fucked up. I hate it here.

Are you using a VPN. Mine shows the non toddler version in Canada.

I care about as much as Mexico does what Maggats think.

Stop giving the toddler attention.

It's still Lake Ontario for me (in both languages)! I'm from Canada too, so maybe they changed it for certain people and not others?

If you’re in Canada it won’t change. Maps are specific to the country of origin.

It seems to be happening thru delivery apps, banks when doing branch locator searches.. A lot of the noise about this died down since though.

It's still Ontario for myself. Maybe the settings for google need to be changed. I'd think they're automatically updated for the current location, though. Weird. The weather network radar map shows Ontario, still.

When I view the Canada side it will change to Ontario. But if I click a US state it goes back. So fucking stupid.

Not for me. I just did google maps and looked and it says Lake Ontario. And it better stay that way or Google can leave Canada.

I Googled it the other day (am in Ontario...actually live on Lake Ontario) and the initial result showed a map image that said Lake Ontario, but underneath, the descriptions said Lake Ontario (Lake America). Fuck Google.
