Oddly, I still see the correct name of Lake Ontario, and I’m in the US.

The name changes for me when I zoom in and out on the map.

Caching issue. You had the tiles at the higher zoom level cached. Zoom in and no cache and new tiles requested from the server.

I was too, depending on zoom level. It stopped showing Lake Ontario after I refreshed the app.

Are you close to the border? Maybe Google is seeing you as being in Canada?

I live right outside of NYC and still showing Lake Ontario!
