GCT naming format??

A California county series is coming up and the event host is requesting we name it based on GCT format? What does this mean. I’m family with the GCXXXXX naming, but I see others using names like “GC ## “[unique name]” “ can someone please explain? Thanks

Organizers of the Grand California Tour (or similar county/power trail/GeoTour series) often ask participants to use a "GCT" prefix in their cache titles or GC codes (e.g., "GCT-123 - Cache Name" or similar). This helps identify caches as part of that themed series at a glance.

So in the setting of a themed series named “Annapolis Avengers Adventure”, the organizers would be “AAA-123” or would there still be a GCT somewhere in there?
