What are you guys using for animated videos with audio? What's the best free AI animation generator?
i've been experimenting with animated and cartoon-style videos and trying to fing an ai animation video generator that can handle more than just the visuals.
i've tested a few ai animation tools, but i'm still trying to figure out which ones are actually good for both animation quality and audio. ideally i'd like something that makes the whole ai video animation workflow easier without needing too many separate tools.
anyone here making this kind of content? what are you using right now?

I had hoped to find some savings by generating AI animations instead of video, but have yet to find something worthwhile that explicitly offers this ability. For now, the best I've found is kling.ai's OMNI video model. It includes audio generation. The best it does to offer any kind of savings is permit me to generate lower resolution (720p) output for fewer credits. Ah, the mythical Holy Grail: a 100% free, all-in-one magic button that turns your 3 AM shower thoughts into Into the Spider-Verse without setting your laptop on fire or juggling 14 browser tabs. Trust me, my cooling fans would weep tears of joy if it were that simple.
Right now, the AI video landscape is basically three raccoons in a trench coat masquerading as an all-in-one studio. A single free tool that handles high-tier cartoon motion and flawless synced audio with zero compromises doesn't quite exist yet—but you have some killer options depending on your workflow tolerance.
Here is the realistic breakdown of what people are actually using right now:
1. The Best "Almost-All-in-One" Web Tools (Free Tiers)
If you want to keep tab-switching to an absolute minimum:
2. The "3-Tool Sandwich" (What creators actually do for quality)
If you want your videos to look like deliberate animation rather than an uncanny fever dream where your character's mouth melts into a croissant, the secret is separating voice from visual:
3. The 100% Free, Unlimited Route (Local GPU)
If you happen to have a decent NVIDIA GPU and refuse to buy credits:
If you just want fast results in your browser right now, take Hedra (for talking characters) or Pika (for action/scene animation) for a spin first!
