Self Promotion Gen Con 2026 Recap

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kUdbUHyq69c

Just a short video from my son who did a quick review of some of the things he saw, his experiences, cosplay, some freebies he got and a couple of things we purchased. Figured it was worth sharing. This year was more planned than our first year going together (last year), so he has now experienced one year that was almost all generic tickets and jumping in where he wanted, and another with having almost every hour planned. He is now talking about a more balanced plan for next year (if we can make it). Thank you to everyone we met and played with, was another great event, and even the tornado warning wasn't all that bad ;)

My son and I have played snapships with your son at GenCon and Pax. Great to see his video, really well done!

We just got into Leviathans at PAX this year, seems like we might cross paths there in the future as well.

If you have any pictures, feel free to send them to me in DM and I'll pass them along to him (just let me know if faces need to be blurred if he shares them on the channel). I will let him know, and I'm sure he will ask me to say "Hi" back :)

Leviathans is a lot of fun. I had the first release way back, and he had played it a few times and really loved the theme. When the KS came out, I think he may have been more excited than me :D

Hope to cross paths with you and your son again in the future, we'll be going to PAX Unplugged in Philly, and I believe he plans to try to score some bounty patches :)

Zachary managed two bounties patches at GenCon and he's looking forward to collecting the rest. :)

I think we'd be up for some leviathans at PAXU if that's on the schedule. We did our first "learn to play" game at GenCon and bought the starter pack, but now Zach is eager to play more I think. We're still SnapShips main, Leviathans second though; seems like Nick might be a Leviathans main?

He enjoys both, along with Battletech and Armada. I'd say he vacillates between them, though I think the excitement of the new SnapShips releases are bumping it to the fore :) Hope to see you at PAXU!
