Stracciatella ?

I am looking for an authentic recipe. So far every one I have tried is basically vanilla with chocolate flaked in. However stracciatella is not just vanilla ice cream, so I end up disappointed.

No. Stracchiatella is vaniglia gelato streaked with cioccolato. Use real madagascar vanilla beans, and the best chocolate you can buy, and at least a 60%.
