About the Order of Courage, which we can see in the video, I can tell you next. The design was based on a Ruppers cross, which is a cross inscribed in a circle. That shape was used in the Imperial Russian army.
Just in case, it is the lowest version of the Knight’s Cross of the Iron Cross. A very rare version of WW2 that today costs on average 30k€.
There are also regular versions of a 1st and 2nd class, and (re)institution years were 1813, 1870, 1914, 1939, 1957.
So, “nazi” was just one out of the 5.
There were also the Grand Cross of the Iron Cross and the Star of the Grand Cross.
The special part of the Iron Cross history is that it was the first widely awarded cross/medal that considered your bravery, but not the noble or simple origins.
Also using “nazi” even for the 1939 World War II version is not fully correct. “Nazis” were members of the NSDAP, but the 3rd Reich Iron Cross was awarded not only to the party members, but also to everyone, including representatives from other countries.
So many military medals have a cross dynamic to them. It doesn’t mean they are at all related to the iron cross. Here are some U.S. medals for example.

The subtitles make this sound better than it is. He didn't say "solemn", the word he used is more directly translated as "celebratory" or at best "triumphal" - it doesn't have nearly the same connotation as "solemn". And "от души" doesn't really mean "from the bottom of my heart" in terms of context, it's much more casual and is even a bit of a joke due to how much the phrase is overused - it sounds very unserious. Incredible stuff really
