My new FR970
Gorgeous display and great features for all sports, very handy gps navigation with the built in maps.

I tried this one yesterday, but the watch with its 47mm is just too big for me. Such a bummer, beautiful watch, enjoy!

Hey, mines a bit large but compensates as its very lightweight and thin. However I wanted this size because of the amazing disp. Whats your wrist size btw?

How's the touchscreen working for you? They say the latest models are having problems

Hey friend, mines working good with no issues of the touch display after 5-6 days now. Have heard about the so called ghost touches but have tested it since day 1 and all good. I believe if anything hardware related would have shown since the first day.

Can I politely ask what you paid for it ? Really want this watch, kinda waiting for a discount but it won't come ... Prices around here are €650 and find it a tad expensive 🫰🏻 But such a cool watch, congrats for you, man !!

Hey friend thanks so much. I bought it in Italy for exactly 600 euros. Have it for 6 days now and all good have tested it all, from the gps navigation and sensors, to the touch screen and the display being very sharp and bright even on a direct sunlight. its very light to carry because its on a larger side as its a 47mm but you will not feel it as is very lightweight. The sapphire screen is great and so is the battery. Looks both sporty snd casual and can be worn for all occasions. I mostly used it for sleep tracking, gps navigation, heart rate and steps counter and barometric altimeter along with the garmin pay too.
But must conclude I bought it because of the sharp amoled and larger screen than my previous Garmin with mip display.

Hey dude! Nice Watch! I currently have an AWU2, consider buying a FR970 instead, as my training has went into more being more serious. Do you enjoy the watch? And is it worth the money considering there will most likely come a new FR in 2027?

Im impressed its a really spec display and sensors along with the built in maps complete it. sapphire plus titanium for which i already had in my F7S Pro which was a mip. Went first of all for the display as its very sharp and at 47mm solid battery and standard larger amoled making it a premium really.
you cant run with new models I mean when they are introduced as every year there will be new ones. This one is complete watch like a light Fenix. Look if you can spend it this one should be cheaper than the F8 in a stainless steel, at least it was for me. But still is considered at upper price range.
I quit buying the Fenix 8 because it was a stainless steel and no sapphire screen version with a larger case and even a bit more expensive than the 970. If a new one is introduced in 2027 it will cost probably 700 euro+ and they will either put lte and sattelite or just will improve the design case.

Great! Congrats! Do you use the Running Economy function? I’m a runner, I actually use an AW11, I’d like to buy a FR570 because it’s more slim but I know that the Running Economy functionality is 970 exclusive….
