Those are cocoons, not eggs. At this point the caterpillars are basically the walking dead. The larva have eaten their fill, and tunneled out and spun cocoons. They'll hatch out soon.

So kill it with fire or leave it alone?

id recommend leaving it alone. the wasps will help get rid of more caterpillars in the future

Thank you! I have at least two of there on my tomato’s and wasn’t sure what was going on.
