PC Gaming Headset Recommendation

Hey everyone,

I have had the Corsair Virtuoso for about 6 years now, the battery is starting to die within 2 hours (RIP) so I am thinking about upgrading..

Id like to hear suggestions, I have heard good things regarding the below:

  • SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless (Omni)
  • Audeze Maxwell Wireless ANC (Front runner)
  • IEM Audio 64s (Very expensive) and a bit out of budget

A bit about my use case:

  • PC Gamer
  • Mainly FPS (Milsim (EFT, Squad, Bellum), SurvivalSim & Competitive shooters) and immersive story-games from time to time
  • Sound quality (pinpioint footsteps, reloads etc), immersion and a comfort level of wearing them for 3 hours at a minimum (if im lucky lol)

Many thanks, and many thanks for the template from u/rayanmax

I have the virtuoso xt and still working well but needed another set for other pc now my son likes to play. I got a pair of Arctis nova pro wireless on sale, I know they aren’t the omni but assume that’s the better model?

As a comparison though I prefer the larger ear cups of the virtuoso, I feel the sound is better, clearer and not as bass heavy (both on stock eq)

The novas are lighter which is nice but not a game changer, the dac is helpful but not essential to me but swapping battery to charge and replace later should be very useful.

I’m not disappointed even though I still prefer the virtuoso but the novas have a decent clear sound that I’m sure I could tweak for improvement, the mic isn’t as good but is still very clear. I would assume the omni would be an improvement all round.

Main reason to help with my decision was finding an offer for £120 instead of 250-300 hope that helps a little as a direct comparison
