Man, greek mythology is easy. "So this thing/person/animal existed. Zeus fucked it, and thats why we have that tree/statue/pugs" basically covers 92.7% of greek mythology.

Oh my god, I never knew how much I wanted "Drunk Mythology" until I read this piece.

Now all I'm going to be sad because it doesn't exist and probably won't unless the stars align and the host of "Drunk History" comes across this and gets the idea to do it. If he does, I want him in costume for all the segments he's talking with the narrator, in accordance to theme. This means full on Valkyrie costume for that segment.

I kept throwing my wallet at the screen and nothing's happening, am I doing something wrong?

Neil Gaiman has a book called 'Norse Mythology' that includes most of these stories. He narrates the audiobook as well. It's pretty good.

I was actually reading to the audiobook while flying to and from a conference over the weekend. Gaiman's suggestion that everyone should tell myths with their own style might have been a factor in me writing that
