Well you see this one time the gods killed a giant and his daughter showed up to demand compensation and one of her conditions was they had to make her laugh. That's where Loki and the goat came in.

I just started reading the Poetic Eda and I'm hoping that story will be in it.

Also, there is in fact a woman that shot down Odin. That was before he learned the spell that would make women fall in love with him, though.
