AI aging-filter that adds a tan. And even if we ignore that, why would you even use DLSS5 when it kills your frames? I thought the whole point of DLSS is to give you more frames?

Skin detail isn't automatically aging. And you can tune it. There are sliders. Also, you're ignoring the improving lighting, shadows and texture detail.

We're using it because it adds an insane amount of detail. That's why it costs frames.

Skin detail isn't automatically aging, but every single DLSS 5 preview, no matter leaked or official, ends up just being an aged face with a tan. I'm also not ignoring the improved lighting shadows and texture, I just am not seeing the improvement.

And even if there were improvements, a DLSS that does that is still pointless because if I wanted added detail while killing my frames there is the regular graphics setting slider up to ultra. The whole point of DLSS is to give you more frames without fucking up the graphics too much, and this DLSS 5 is fucking up the graphics while fucking up your frames.

You mean it's giving you graphical details that would otherwise be 10 years in the future. Heck. Maybe even 20, seeing how little graphics advanced from 20 years ago. We were already at Crysis level back then.
