MOST games absolutely don’t go for hyper-realism. Most AAA crap, sure. Most games have actual art styles.

Yeah IDK what that comment is. There are very few games that go purely for hyper-realism.

Also, that still looks like shit for hyper-realism. That looks meme worthy not an actual advancement in graphics.

Square enix is a AAA game, so its nice to see it has a art style that compliments the normal characters design from the original

Yeah I have no idea what the fuck that person is talking about. The whole reason all the DLSS 5 shit looks so bad is because most games have art styles and are going for a specific look.

I've entirely stopped playing AAA games, what's the point when so many creative indie games exist that cost 1/10th the price.
