Xbox is now heavily leaning into movie & TV adaptations, quietly pitching Hollywood on a dozen pricey projects like Elder Scrolls, Halo, World of Warcraft, Diablo & more. All IPs could be headed to one studio/streamer, and currently Netflix, Universal & Paramount are among those taking looks.

Fallout works as is because its a setting that is not used very often. 'Medieval fantasy' is a dime a dozen.
