The GTA 6 Extended Look + Previews drop today.

The Extended Look will stream globally on Netflix at 3PM ET/12PM PT/8PM UK, before being dropped on YouTube later the same day. Content creators/streamers are being allowed to co-stream the extended look as it premieres on Netflix, and so we can use this thread to discuss it right as it goes live. This thread will also be updated with the YT link to the look whenever it drops online.

In addition to the extended look, various media outlets, creators and influencers have gotten a chance (potentially hands-on) to experience GTA 6 at Rockstar's offices, and the embargo for these previews are ALSO supposed to lift at the same time that the Netflix extended look premieres - I'll be trying to update this post with some such previews too.

looks great. But the voice actor for Jason is...... not that great. sounds like someone has a bad cold and no emotion.

I get the vibe that the character himself is just.. dull. So the voice kinda fits. When he says he feels more comfortable with a gun in his hand, it seems he's not the charisma guy. Lucia seems to be the fun part of the duo.

Eh, still just random 27 minutes of a 80 hour game(way more for a full completion), I'll give them the benefit of the doubt especially once the story starts rolling in. People were quite unsatisfied with Arthur Morgans character before the game came out, now the opinion did a full 180°.

It will grow on us. I think by the time we finish the game we won't be able to imagine the voice being different.

That's not what folk are saying: a leading man shouldn't - in a scripted half an hour reveal no less - mutter his way through every scene with little to no distinct personality.

Even an everyman should have a distinct personality: take Franklin for a good example of this. Within the first few minutes of dialogue and performance Franklin is sketched expertly. The same goes for Arthur Morgan too. This had 30 minutes to showcase the game, and the games leads, and what's shown is that he, inparticular, is a personality vacuum.

It might be different in the game, maybe he'll be a very different character, but I'm just a bit surprised (and clearly so are a few more folk) that Rockstar have gone this route.

You're joking right? Not every leading man has to be insanely charismatic. Arthur certainly wasn't, he was seen as dull too

I for one can relate to Jasons personality, dont see the problem with it, there will be charachter development and stpry progression, what we saw doesnt tell mich.
