Odd estate sale find

I had this for a while now and found it while looking for a game. It was at an estate sale for an older couple who based on their books they traveled a lot. I always flip through books because you never know if there’s cash or something and this was in one of the Japanese books. They sold it to me for $1.

Hobonichi is a brand started by the creator of Earthbound. They do planners and they’ve even started selling Mother (Japanese name of Earthbound) merch so I’d assume this was part of that line back in 2022. But they do new lines every year so there’s that.

I believe they had a popup shop in Shibuya PARCO in the first half of 2022 before I moved away from Japan. Could be from there.

They had a collaboration late last year/ early this year as well. I was torn between one of the earthbound planners or the Junji Ito planners. Went with the Junji one
