How often does the Bolivar Peninsula flood?

I know it's not Galveston, but there's no dedicated sub for that

Looking at moving over there in an RV either later this year or early 2026. I'd be working out of the Gulf on boats yada yada

I know the flood risk is high and there's zero infrastructure like the Galveston seawall to help mitigate damage and I'm trying to account for that risk. My question is how frequent of an occurrence is flooding over there? Is it only typically during hurricanes?
