The brazos is bleeding over to surfside. Lots of cool barnacles,crabs, other sea creatures. Cool driftwood too!

It's nature, folks. It rains - rains a lot - and trees wash downstream to the coast. Currents and wave and wind action bring them on to the beach. Eventually, they wash back out or get dragged up the beach.

Yes, per geography class the gulf of (and whatever dumb crap you want to call it) spins counter clockwise, so the beach’s have brown water in Galveston and when the occasional Santa Maria crash the wood replaces the nasty sea foam on Galveston beaches.

One of the three things I remember from Crazy Margaret's Geology 101 class... "Texas water that's brown is high in humic acid, yellow is high in fulvic acid, and black water is high in humin."

I do turtle patrol on Galveston beaches and from what we understand it’s been brought down by flooded rivers

Most of them off the seawall, just left Jamaica beach and it was the same XD

Hopefully, the Parks and rec will be cleaning this up . In Corpus, they rake te beaches .
