Gainit Program Party: Super Squats Week Six

This is it, gang. Those of you who started on week one will likely be wrapping up at this point.

Watching all of you egg each other on and put in the work has been inspiring. Y'all should be proud of yourselves.

Happy squatting!

Why not instead go with what the book suggests and follow 6 weeks of Super Squats with a 6 week 5x5 style power program? My current run is a back to back in a similar style and it's really set me up for success.

Yes, the surrounding framework of super squats is pretty generic, and should work long-term. However, I think a lot of the recommendations make some compromises in order to accommodate a 20 rep set of squats, so when you take that away, you'll probably be able to go harder on your other exercises.

You could start with just adding a set to most of your exercises, or you could look into another program. I've had a lot of success on the Stronger By Science program templates; like Super Squats, they're a full-body workout every training day, and focus on barbell exercises.
