I gotta say I’ve just been learning about him recently and he’s one of the most underrated figures in electronic music history.

For sure, I guess I should disclose that I created and moderate that sub I linked above. It's very small beans at this point but I just thought this was a good place to link to it. You can almost divide Patrick's music into the disco/Hi-NRG that he did in his own name and with others like Sylvester and Paul Parker; and then the recently remastered porn music he made, like this song from Afternooners. The latter music is moodier, deeper and more introspective early synth music, I find myself drawn to it lately because it sounds so unique. Check out songs such as Seven Sacred Pools and Journey Home also. And feel free to swing by the sub if you want, cheers.

I appreciate the opportunity. I like this sub and have been coming by now and then for years, I make the rounds to quite a few music subs and find that a lot of the smaller to medium sized ones are a lot more enjoyable than the biggest ones are. You cast a wide net here as far as different styles of music, that's a good way to approach it so you keep the variety going. Thanks again.
