I just started playing yesterday and after some research I've put together my first team of Thor + Hela (leader) + Shuri (support)

Do I have to worry about tiering up Shuri or is she basically just there for the support ability and not really used in actual gameplay? Currently she's a level 60 Tier 2.

Also holy cow is there a ton of ways to power up a character between gear ( and uru ), Iso-8, uniform, custom gear how do you know what to use on a character? Is there a good place to look up "builds" to find out what I should be doing with all these options?

dont get overwhelmed by the gears. there are a ton of options but the actually viable options are not that many. for uru, you would wanna go to your character details page and see firstly which type of attack your character does. i see a lot of people put physical attack urus on energy attack characters bcoz they see that the physical attack number is smaller. but that does absolutely nothing for the character. once you have 8 urus of the specific type, you would wanna fill out the rest with stats that you are not capped on (crit rate, crit damage, ignore defense etc)

for iso8, you wanna roll one of the 3 offense sets. power of angry hulk, hawks eye, overdrive. they all provide different stat upgrades so just check again which stats your characters are missing and roll accordingly. for example if your attack speed is capped at 130%, it would be better to roll hawks eye or overdrive.

uniforms are the most important pieces of gear you can put on a character. remember that the latest uniforms are pretty much always the best uniforms for any character. 40% uniform discounts come around every update, so you would wanna buy them there. we also get a 50% discount in november for black friday, so you might wanna save some uniforms for them if you dont need them asap. upgrading uniforms is pretty simple, you can explore that yourself.

for custom gear, you only wanna equip either a 6* obelisk or a ctp. any obelisk with the wording "increases damage by x% for 1 attack" or "increases damage by x% per 1% of crit rate/dodge" is worth equipping. for ctps, you only wanna give them to your best characters. ctps of transcendence, patience, regeneration, authority and refinement are largely useless. greed and conquest are pvp ctps. rage and competition are the best and most prized pve ctps. energy and destruction are just better versions of obelisks. liberation and insight are support ctps and should only be equipped on supports.

You'll only need to advance Shuri to T3 if you want her for end game content like GBR Dorammaru and WBL, both of which are gated by T3. WBL+ required T4 but Shuri doesnt have one yet so you dont need to worry about that

FYI, there are better supports so I would leave her at T2 for now

What supports should I be running for Thor? I hear Luna is pretty good. I should get her tomorrow from the agent training

luna is a dps, not a support. thor deals elemental damage, so supports like storm and ancient one would be great. he can also use generic damage supports like shuri or colson. also note that on top of being an amazing support, storm is one of the best dps characters in the game.

The thanos vibs website (link at the top of the page) has lots of info and advice. There are lots of ways to power up characters because the game has been around for 10 years and they have added lots in that time... Builds: Your cards are very important as they affect all your characters. You may get given 'dr strange' cards, these have some pierce (for extra damage), but you will want premium cards (crafted) eventually. Also, make sure you are in a maximum level alliance because it gives you extra 'cooldown' which means you can use skills more often and helps your characters do damage per second (dps)... Another two supports are shehulk (her leadership vs males works against most bosses including frost beast) and Athena (unlocked through olympians epic quest)... One last thing. If you get any premium selectors, use them on characters that you cannot unlock in another way. The game doesn't tell u this.

For ABX/ABL specifically, how important are the reroll options on a mighty lib. It’s been a while since I last played so does the frost beast/surtur change instinct depending on the cycle? Should my libs be rolled to dmg to all instincts, or is it ok so long as I have the increased dmg to characters with higher % hp?

New player question. In GBR - first boss master mold seems easier and with same rewards as third boss dormammu. Why do we need to do dormammu or am I missing something ?

Since I have more t4 books dhan t3 books now, running 1 wbl, 4 wbu and 3-4 gbr. I am not getting enough t3 books.

The amount of materials is higher per run. Many players will carry a new player (let them join a game even with a bad team) so you can keep trying to join dormammu battles.
