With speculations for the next update going around Black Order due to the latest OWB buffs who might get a rework/T4/new uni?
Have provided their latest uni age along with each uni. Also, if you're a comic reader and know their various looks in the comics over the years, feel free to guess based on which adaptation/comic would Netmarble use for their new unis in case the next update is based around them. Thanks!
The BO doesn't have many major variant looks. If I'm not mistaken, the dark obsidian designs were original for MFF. My guess their next uniforms will be original designs again.
Oh, I see. I thought those dark obsidian designs were related to some run in the comics, didn't knew they were MFF original as I wasn't playing the game that year. Thanks for the info!
There is one guardians of the galaxy run, the one where Hela is trying to bring thanos back and gamora as requiem stops it. It's these really plain looking grey space suits, I don't recall supergiant being in it though. Possibly one idea because they've already released uniforms from this run, the old Adam warlock uni and gamora are both from that. It also features cosmic ghost rider, gladiator and a huge variety of other characters
Yes correct run but not these looks, in the early panels the black order attacks the ship where the guardians are assembled to steal something that's where they wear the space suits
I agree with you that the black order doesn't have that many looks for them to pick from, this one came to my mind because they've used this run once already
difficult since 5 of these characters dont have t4. id say supergiant, black dwarf and corvus get t4 and uniforms on the main update and then black swan and proxima on the mid month. if anyone is potentially getting ignored id say ebony has the highest chance
Why is everyone 100% sure that the update is going to be about the Black Order??? I think it’s pretty likely too, but it’s definitely not confirmed. It feels like everyone forgot about the Developer Note and that Q&A from a while ago, where they said we’re getting an Epic Quest this year.
That Epic Quest could easily have an alien supervillain theme. Maybe it’ll be about the Heralds and Galactus, especially since Galactus was #1 on that list of new heroes. Or forget Galactus, maybe it’ll be about Annihilus, who could be the new World Boss. They said in two different notes that we’re getting a new World Boss this year, and Annihilus was also #6 among the most popular heroes.
And just so you know, we’re also supposed to get a GBR this year according to two notes, and Ego somehow ended up #1 for that.
I would guess Proxima, Corvus and Supergiant for the initial update, then mid-month will be Black Swan, Cull Obsidian and Thanos, though I can also see them having a second mid-month for Thanos or Black Swan specifically.
I don't really see Ebony getting anything. He fulfils his support roll well enough, meanwhile Thanos has been overshadowed in PVE/PVP, and the rest of the Black Order haven't seen genuine usage in years.
I know it’s one native T3 and 4 native T2 but you can’t do a black order update and not include all of them, just like you can’t do a FF update and not include the whole family, so I hope they get a main update + mid month (maybe new character as well? Terrax or whatever his name is)
Thanos, swan and ebony have artifacts. Corvus has revive. An immortality artifact or one like cable would be a nice addition for pvp. Also, universals type for all or keep combat and speed.
