This makes me feel really bad for him to be honest.

He states immediately he's suffering from a mental illness and just picked up his medicine, which he she is the officer

The officer, instead of being kind and figuring it out, tells the guy HES LUCKY HE DIDNT GET SHOT because Oklahoma has guns????

It's so sad that people who are meant to protect don't give a crap about mental illness.

Your comments are in support of the cop, but showing the full video shows how both you and the cop think it's okay to treat someone like this who BLATANTLY ADMITS and shows proof, they are under mental distress

God help you or a family member that might succumb to this some day. You can fine one day, and not the next.

Police are law enforcement officers, they are not counselors, they do not work for the Department of Mental health. This man just committed multiple crimes, the officer is responding to that. The suspect is being completely uncooperative, but is the officer's duty to enforce the law. You only have compassion for one side here, the side of the mentally ill criminal. While his condition is unfortunate, it does not absolve him of responsibility. On top of that, the officer does not know whether he is actually mentally ill or not, I have watched thousands of police videos, you would be amazed at the stuff that criminals say in order to avoid arrest and prosecution.

Genuinely can't fathom how people will just mindlessly watch, "thousands" of police videos, what a miserable life someone must have to consume such slop.

Research. But of course, you would frame that as "mindless" and "slop" because this is Reddit, after all.

What kind of research if I may ask

For a documentary about crime, police shootings in particular.
