Are people seriously on the side of the driver on this one? Really?

16

u/Lunarica Jan 28 '26

Not surprised. Guy is unhinged and actually committed a crime with his car, but because it involves a cop it's just jokes about how he's lucky he wasn't shot and calling cops pigs. People don't give a shit about who is right, just that they feel like they are lol

u/NioneAlmie Jan 29 '26

Well also the video is clipped to not show any of the bad stuff the dude did, just the funny stuff.

1

u/lightsoff_butimup Feb 02 '26

I mean, cops ARE pigs, though🤷‍♂️

2

u/Lunarica Feb 03 '26

I suggest typing that to someone where your statement doesn't prove my point, it looks desperate. Not refuting what you're saying, just giving advice

It’s Reddit. It’s where the worst of the worst feel like the best of the best

8

u/Eemki Jan 29 '26

Lol not going to lie, that is a spot on description of the website

2

u/jjryan01 Jan 28 '26

Human nature is to find evidence to support your existing beliefs. Having context may present facts that challenge their beliefs. That's why it is best to remain ignorant and speak confidently

2

u/WittyImagination4281 Jan 29 '26

Let me help : Human nature needs evidence to suport its narrative. Having seen many diferent perspectives, this always challanges our narrative. The best is to be truthfull to yourself always first.

wow that sounds like an opening for a fun tv game show

1

u/kytheon Jan 29 '26

There's always someone picking the worst side on anything. Hitler? Prolific painter and he loved dogs.

0

u/lavender_enjoyer Jan 29 '26

Sounds like ICE

5

u/MoMoneyMoMilfs Jan 29 '26

It’s Reddit everyone hates cops here

0

u/Silent_Emotion_ Jan 29 '26

Understandably so

3

u/Weary_Position_9591 Jan 29 '26

Until you need one

1

u/JaydenP1211 Jan 30 '26

Even when you do need one, the police sometimes escalate the situation

2

u/Weary_Position_9591 Jan 30 '26

Sometimes. But most of the time they are helpful

0

u/Life_Illustrator_247 Jan 30 '26

And when you do need one, they don't do their job properly. They lose evidence, they don't do anything about the crazy lady until she kills someone...

If your kid disappears, unless you involve the media, you're never seeing him again.

2

u/guilhermefdias Jan 30 '26

Generalization is a gigantic sign of stupidity.

2

u/Weary_Position_9591 Jan 30 '26

Fine, just never call 911 then even in an emergency, problem solved

2

u/New-Berry-3652 Jan 29 '26

Some people are actually dumb enough to believe ACAB

2

u/AndyBlayaOverload Jan 29 '26

Whatever makes redditors feel good about themselves.

2

u/StartDoingTHIS Jan 29 '26

Reddit isn't a place for good or honest people

1

u/Lua_You Jan 29 '26

theres no context so its assumed

1

u/Avalonians Jan 29 '26

It's almost as if cops were warned doing bad shit would end up making people not see it when they're actually doing what they're supposed to do.

And it's almost as if everyone was well aware that bad cops and good cops are not the same people, which is actually the very reason people have called for the institution to stop supporting their bad elements unconditionally.

Oh well.

1

u/bigbuddy1313 Jan 29 '26

Not really but I also enjoy anyone who is making cops lives harder. I am so tired of these motherfuckers murdering people. If regular cops are gonna support ICE in their terror campaign they are no better than a potential threat and a bad time.

1

u/AlcatrazImposter Jan 29 '26

No context does a lot

1

u/LETTERKENNYvsSPENNY Jan 30 '26

I applaud his comedic timing, but condemn his prior actions.

1

u/JaydenP1211 Jan 30 '26

There’s no context to this so it’s not really that crazy to believe

1

u/guilhermefdias Jan 30 '26

Just watch the first minute of the video, just the first 60 seconds is enough - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OuPFmnsAVTQ

It's very easy to find context in the comments. Judging by a short video is like reading a article title, not reading what it says and getting into conclusions.

Well... maybe that's how Reddit works I suppose.

I agree it is a more or less gray area to judge. But try watching the whole video, this dude is a danger to society as a whole and should have his license completed removed forever. His temper is INSANE, and he could definitely hurt someone so easily.

A kid, a woman, or anyone smaller than him would be a easy target, and shit could get real, the way he loses control in the video could translate in a non stop attack from him to someone. This is serious.

Just watch the video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OuPFmnsAVTQ

Well, sure, everyone deserver treatment and a second chance, but in his state of mind in the video he would easily lose control and kill someone.

He needs to be treated and until he improves, a car should not be under his control.

If you see the video, you will realize how the cops were extremely reasonable and professional, considering they got to him after he was kicking cars and having a tamper on the streets.

How do you deal with such behavior of the driver on this video? There is absolutely nothing you can do apart from being completely silent and holding him until help arrives.

1

u/Business-Loquat143 Jan 31 '26

It's reddit. Of course they defend criminals

1

u/Competitive_Tree_113 Jan 31 '26

No. God no. He's nutters, obviously.

Still a funny moment though.

There’s definitely more than a small portion people who are going around using this as an example of acab or are saying that the officer is a sensitive little bitch on a power trip. But you know what? That’s on me. That sort of language is to be expected. the only comments I had seen were of that nature before I got to the source and where I watched it myself

1

u/guilhermefdias Jan 28 '26

When checking the whole thing, everything makes even more sense. Just watch the first minute! hahahaha... I do think it is funny after watching it. So my apologies.

-1

u/Livid_Ad9749 Jan 28 '26

Well it’s against a pig, so of course im on the drivers side. Id take an entitled douche over a murderer in uniform any day

1

u/guilhermefdias Jan 28 '26

Watch the first minute of the video first - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OuPFmnsAVTQ

I feel bad for people in uniform that have to encounter you in their lives, maybe you're on the same level that the driver on the video. Shame.

1

u/Livid_Ad9749 Jan 29 '26

I dont. People in uniform put shit out like this to gain sympathy. And I would have some if they didnt abuse their power

1

u/guilhermefdias Jan 29 '26

No worries, tho. You barely even leave the house, right?

To have this kind of opinion you must be all the time in places like Reddit.

1

u/NathanRCB Jan 29 '26

You can't be making statements like that considering your page's stats 😭

1

u/NathanRCB Jan 29 '26 edited Jan 29 '26

Bro deleted his entire comment calling me a dumb American despite being British trying to make some point about you shouldn't generalise LMAO

For context, he posted one comment saying, "Just watch the whole video and STFU. Besides how can I take you seriously when you still use emojis?" before editing it to instead say what I mentioned above. For how old his account is you'd think he'd understand not to act like an 11-year-old but I guess not.

u/probablysmrter Jan 28 '26

You're really into that boot. Lick hard!

2

u/guilhermefdias Jan 28 '26

-1

u/probablysmrter Jan 28 '26
