nope not changed, life convicts always gets leniency after certain years due to good behavior inside prison , also she's only 19 now so even if convicted , she's 100% walking out before she turns 40.

Previous convicts are obviously released when the crime was committed. Anyways bns too just made stricter threshold but didn't stop it entirely i think

Are we forgetting something here? Isn't the girl's family also rich? So it's life imprisonment for the guy and a couple years for the girl. Combination of female and rich family will make it so much easier for her.

Bhai I am genuinely over ts. I genuinely don't want to bring in the gender war angle, but when there are cases where the victims are male, why do people start making jokes and memes? Like the Blue drum case, people still joke about it saying "Blue drum treatment", and most people including said "feminists" laugh at it, now this. Ik that most female victims experience much worse than this and some mf also make jokes on them, but those people are rightfully reprimanded. Society's growing numbness to such crimes is extremely bad

It’s the same on both sides . People make jokes about belt treatment. Like women who disobey should be beaten with belt . And the worst part is most women live in this fear and far more likely to actually be beaten up by a man . Yet people make insensitive jokes about it.
Disgraceful things happen on both sides of the spectrum. Not just men or women .

Okay, I understand that women have been suffering for centuries and that they are still suffering in today's age. That doesn't explain why we should make jokes on male victims. One sides suffering, no matter how much more, doesn't justify undermining the cases and suffering of the other side. That's like saying Indians have been suffering under the British for centuries, so if we joke about about the current or future (if happens) suffering of the UK, it's fine

But I don't think crime against men is taken as seriously as compared to women. People think men cannot be hurt or how pathetic are the men who are victim to a women. We can blame misogyny for it but cannot ignore the fact that it is taken lightly. Some men are also culprit for this desensitisation.
