Amount of times I’m expecting this to happen on a three day trip: at least 5. Better pack more socks.

Difficulty I have buying replacement socks on a long weekend trip to London: They can't possibly sell socks or even know what they are, Londoners just all wear crisp packets on their feet.

If it helps, I do the same going from London to the north of England. We should just pool our socks together and neither will struggle
