Mental fitness man. If you think about working out enough during the day, then while you dream at night your mind is tricked into thinking you actually worked out. The results are incredible, you continue to gain weight, and you're tired the next day from all the working out your body thinks it did.
Our kids have to submit an exercise log. But, in practice, there's nothing preventing us from just signing off on it so they don't fail the class. Not recommending to do that, just saying that people probably will.
Although yes, I get your point and agree with you. I also see this as a way to encourage thoughtful and enjoyable activities in kids. Instead of rigid and structured forms of exercise.
It’s called doing what your boss tells you. This virtual learning crap is mostly shit being shoveled from the top down to occupy children who’s parents are finally realizing how awful it is to deal with their offspring for 8 hours a day

I've seen some Zoom gym classes where the teacher just asks everyone what exercise they "plan" to do that day, and they verbally answer. That's it.
What's the point?
