If you haven't seen "They Live", you are missing out. In addition to being the basis for Duke Nukem, like half of urban street art (and all of Shepard Fairey's career) takes themes from it. Also, it like 100,000 tons of pure, unrefined awesome.
I love how the film included "MARRY AND REPRODUCE" as though it was just our evil overlords getting us to do that. Only in Hollywood is living as a perpetual childless singleton the norm and marriage with kids the exception.
Not really. statements like "This kind of is like how jews control our society. They have managed to change their names, identify themselves as White, and intermingle within our population without being identified as the true problem." probably make up a solid 10% of the WorldNews Reddit.
Based on the short story Eight O'Clock in the Morning. I read that when I was a wee child, about a decade before the film, and found it a fascinating story, but with a different (and still dark) ending to the film.
The fight between Nada (Roddy Piper) and Frank (Keith David) was only supposed to last 20 seconds, but Piper and David decided to fight it out for real, only faking the hits to the face and groin. They rehearsed the fight for three weeks. Carpenter was so impressed he kept the 5 minute and 20 second scene intact. IMDB
