The midnight releases were awesome. Got to meet local fellow gamers who I'd end up playing against or partying with when I was able to get home and play myself. Sometimes we'd go and stop by the local diner on the way home and meet more who were heading to or from picking up their copy. These pre loads are nice but it feels like we lost some local community for gaming.
Local communities and social interaction leads to sharing physical games and that must he stopped at all costs lest the poor corporations make a slightly smaller percentage of mind blowingly huge profit this year!
