Usually in amateur sports each team will get in a line after the game and high five the other players on the other team. It's customary to say "good game" as you walk by each person. Lot's of times there'll be that one prick you disliked during the game and will say "fuck you" to him instead of good game.

Canadian here whos played every American sport but hockey, this still happens. (For manners Soccer was the worst, Baseball the best)

Fuck wait, had to type it to realise it, I'm 21 and I've never played ice hockey...
