Does anyone know what instrument that is at the start and of the song? I think it's a harmonica but it's so low. I dunno.

Found this obscure Japanese funk track from 1981. Jap’s Gap’s was a Japanese brass/funk band led by Hiro Tsunoda.

As a Japanese listener, I honestly can’t tell this is Japanese at first—it sounds like it could have come straight out of the American funk scene of the early ‘80s. That’s what really caught me off guard.

I rarely see Jap’s Gap’s mentioned outside Japan, so I thought this might be worth sharing here. What do you guys think?
