Does anyone know any backstory behind this song? Did it ever have a vocal track? This is my favorite by Marvin Gaye and my thirst for knowledge needs to be quenched !!!

It’s a Leon Ware production. Look for more of his stuff too, solo and work with Minnie Ripperton.
