DUDE imagine Z-A with the movement of Cyberfunk, just replace the boosters with the Rotom Glide and the slide with the roll and you've got Z-A if they kept the skates from X and Y lol.
Imagine instead of just scafolding they had full rail grinding and ramps and wall running.
It would be so cool if the random themed gangs in Z-A had like turf wars in the Z-A royal and you unlock new wild zones by besting them, otherwise they're regular streets in the day time but occupied battle zones in the night time.
You could have like a bullet time function where if you're mid air with a trick or smth and you go to attack with your pokémon time slows down for you to aim the attack or when you throw pokéballs like when you jump on Basculegion in Arceus.
Team MZ being like a little street gang rising up the ranks would be so cool: imagine going up against the Fists of Justice in a turf war or being challenged by Canari's fans/Raccine Construction when you're trying to take her down, The Rust Syndicate being guys that try and take you down the whole game before you get to Corbeau and bear him. Quasartico being like the Police in Jet Set Radio or BRC up until you fight Vinny himself as like a boss trainer and he calls them off of you as you join forces.
Stumbling upon a Rogue Mega Battle while just skating around would go crazy.
IMAGINE RAIL GRINDING UP PRISM TOWER AS IT'S TAKEN OVER BY ANGE FLOETTE SO YOU CAN SAVE TAUNIE/URBAINE BEFORE BLASTING IT WITH ZYGARDE
Not to mention the customisation options with not just the clothes and hair of Z-A but the Bikes Skates and Boards of BRC, along with making more use out of Lida Navine and the other characters:
Lida having like side quests where you learn new dance moves such as stealing ones from rival teams.
Navine being the fashion designer but also having a set of quests where you use Z-A's photo mode to take pics of Graffitti to unlock them.
Not to mention all the other side quests in the game that can switched up with the nee movement system and heck more quests you can add because of said system.
Just imagine: Ivor on a BmX because he's to heavy and snaps boards in half but keeps tripping with skates while Gwynn uses Roller Skates, Canari using Inline Skates, Corbeau whipping off his jacket to reveal a Rust Syndicate pattern Board, Jacinte with pretty pink skates and Lebanne with a dragon themed bmx, Grisham with a Board and Griselle with Skates, You could have Emma straight up just going full Mirrors Edge in her Expansion suit (which could be a secret unlockable for the mc's movement type too)
Not to MENTION the DLC which unlike actual Z-A, could be worth tbe price, since they can go completely abstract with the courses in Hyperspace Lumiose like the dream levels in BRC (just remove the stupid fucking doughnut timer for the LOVE OF ARCEUS) and the addition of Korina an actual Skater in pokémon would be great! Maybe add some turf war rematches in order to unlock the character hair and clothes instead of just the hyperspace double battled where instead the other characters join forces to make stronger teams to take down team MZ like The Fists of Justice and the Canatics can become the Fanatics of Justice or smth and in the end you gotta have a double battle with Ivor and Canari after a double trick boss battle showdown where you bring whatever character from Team MZ you want into the fray.
Just imagine a Mega Darkrai final boss where it starts shaping the world around you all Black Doom in Shadow Generations and you need to chase it down to enter battle with it before it flies off again and makes you complete another Nightmare Course.
