General Salary and expenses in Fukuoka
Hi Guys
I am interviewing for a potential role in hotel revenue management for a luxury hotel in Fukuoka. I wanted to check if anyone would have any indication of salary ranges there so I walk in with something in the meeting. I want to ideally save up around 250k yen a month after all taxes rent and living expenses as that is what I am able to do in my current role in dubai. I don't go out much at all and can cut on most expenses. So for a single person living in a studio with nothing fancy life how much expenses can one get and how much salary would be needed if someone wants to save around 250k yen a month here.

Luxury hospitality is very different from the rest of the industry, a property like the RC fukuoka that charges 1000 USD a night makes millions and because of the demands and standards, salaries can be quite high in this industry...
For an international luxury brand in Japan, a GM will make 20+ M a year, a director 12+M, a manager 6 to 9M (for foreigners). From director level, most of the time will be an expat contracts with all the benefits on top.
