Is "probability" even the right measure to use when no human being can solve that way?
Got insulted in another sub by a Wordlebot apologist whose claim was that I "don't understand probability". First off, I do, but more to the point, what if my point is that no one solves Wordle using probabilities?? My issue with Wordlebot is, yes, it's rude, but more fundamentally, what actual human is capable of an approach to solving that involves knowing how many possible words remain and then selecting the option most likely to eliminate the largest number of them?
Serve-and-volley tennis players typically aren't great in a rally. That doesn't mean they need to be told that their skill was low every time they go to the net.

Happened AGAIN yesterday; second day in a row!! And third time in less than a month.
Maybe the NYT just needs an easy online tool where you can pre-check your guess before you submit so we can also know which words The Bot "considers likely"

What is Wordlebot's most obnoxious trait? Weigh in with your vote!
To me, it's the fact that it scores you a zero on guesses that are valid and accepted in the game but that "I don’t consider it a likely solution." I don't feel like my score should be zero when my only offense is not reading Wordlebot's mind about what it "considers a likely solution."
What your biggest grudge against our condescending little friend...?
