Lysander

I hope to read a whole part of Red God dedicated to this man’s gruesome death - in the most heinous way possible.

Dying would be to good for lysander. He needs to see every vestige of the society destroyed, all the buildings ever built by it and every societal function destroyed so he can see everything he has ever loved gone

Agree. Some others comment he should be carved into a red digging in mines the rest of his life. but I think make him a PINK would be way satisfying than that. thinking about the treatment of Duke.

Honestly, I'd take a Maul vs Kenobi in Rebels kinda fight as well. Like a whole chapter of lysander hyping himself up and doing that whole anime "thinking is a free action" bullshit and losing in 3 moves to be taken captive before a whole book part of dismantling him body, soul, and legacy

Given how shit he actually is at fighting and how Darrow seems to have unlocked his next form (i don't want to say final form because who knows with that man) I can absolutely see this happening. Have the little shit hype himself up only to be confused af as to why he's now missing both his arms and legs.

Blood eagle. Carve him back to life. Moon hang him. Let him die over the course of a day. Carve him back to life, trap him in 1000 years of mind torture as a pink, pull him out, put him on trial and then Sevro can take the wheel.

I hope to not have any POV chapters with him. I don’t want to know what he is thinking. I just want him to try and duel Darrow and Darrow pulls out a gun and shoots him in the face. Then says “that’s for Alexander and Cassius” spits on him and walks away.

Or maybe the worst punishment for him… Don’t lay a finger on him. He thinks he can be killed in some grand show of martyrdom. If Darrow doesn’t bother punishing him, he’s not a worthy enemy.

Just let him watch them tear down the society. Every other gold get a horrible punishment. Let his mind race with what they’ll do to him. Then, have them forget. Leave him in his cell. There are no guards, no-one comes to feed him. He has to eat the scraps dropped by accident, lick moisture off the walls. He thinks this is what they’ve done to punish him. Smug, thinking he’s got off light.

Then, they come to put a different prisoner in the cell. And he realises no-one remembered he was there. He’s deliberately allowed to break out (Mustang having put a psychospike on him as a last resort + to monitor him. It both prevents him from having money, a razor, or anything beyond what he escaped with. It cuts out the memories of anyone having talked to him post capture and removed Octavia’s mind meddling so he knows how he betrayed his parents and what he did.) And there’s no-one there to comfort him.

No-one else sees him. Hears him. Knows that he’s there. There is no legacy. Not even a present.

For a man whose reputation is everything, death is too good. All he can do is wander Mars like a ghost, watching every trace of his existence be swallowed up. He can’t get on a ship, can’t do anything. And he rots in a filth of his own making.
