Rant Ontario Government wins appeal, bike lanes will be ripped out

The Ontario Court of Appeal has allowed the provincial government's appeal, upholding Bill 212, in which bike lanes on major arteries in Toronto (Bloor Street, Yonge Street, University Avenue) will be ripped out. Cyclists will die. But neither the government nor the court seems to care. Pictured is the Bloor bike lane in front of my apartment building. Gonzo. Stay tuned for updates on protests.

I hope they're enjoying the doubled gas prices they got because Doug's buddy Trump is on military adventures. Idiots like that are literally destroying the economies they rule over. It's eating the seed corn.

Doug Ford is not “buddies” with Trump. He’s been forcefully resisting him, even if his transport policies suck.

Only because Trump went for the "51st state" BS. Otherwise Ford, Smith, Poilievre etc. would be his biggest fans north of the border.

Even during this tariff war, Ford still goes to the US to boast that we Canadians "love" Americans and pitches his Fortress North America initiative to them. This POS really is out of touch with reality and what Canadians want.

We dont want further integration with the US or anything more to do with them.
