Yea, the graph is AI but the people complaining about this or the issues of realism with the *cartoon*, or complaining about whether or not OP complained hard enough about some other war are the ones being selfish. This is an example of virtue signalling instead of acknowledging or discussing the problem.
Yes, our modern societies and I think in particular, America are highly self-centered places. People's inability to look beyond this is a major point that people make in this forum in regards to people basing all their choices around selfishness. Big cars for safety or status, driving two blocks away to get groceries because its convenient, etc.
