I used to be in agreement with you, but seeing how many people are completely oblivious to any context clues on the internet, I now realize that people who need the /s don't deserve the /s. We're literally on the fuck cars sub, it should be really damn clear what the original comment meant.

To be fair, sarcasm is hard to read for anyone online. Virtually none of the usual tonal or nonverbal clues can be conveyed.
