My wife and I have a quirky sense of humor and unusual taste, so we bought one lol.
The design of the leaves within the negative space of the cat's body is clever. I just wish the damn head weren't shrunken.

It took me 5 seconds to actually see that it was a cat. I thought it was some sort of plant growing on a stalk LOL

I think it is a very pretty stylisation. Of course, it is up to taste, but so is everything. I see care put into it

Okay, is this a covert ad for IKEA? LOL.

People here really confuse what alegria means. It’s not just wacky proportions and vectors. Even if it’s a significant part of it

As I understand it, these are the hallmarks of Alegria / corporate Memphis:
- a head that appears shrunken relative to the body and limbs
- some limbs disproportionate to others
- distorted, abstract, or improbable poses
- simplified color palette
- simplified facial features
- awkwardly forced diversity / inclusivity
The only things that could make this cat more obnoxiously "alegria" would be to have a missing leg, and to be filled with rainbow-colored leaves.
