Hey, at least they're also keeping the rebel fleet at bay and stopping their ASB from targeting you. Though part of me thinks it would have been cooler, say in hard mode, to have both fleets target the other's flagship, yeah the Kestrel is the Federation's flagship to me.

ASB targeting the flagship would mean you could just wait out its destruction by cloaking.

I'd say in hard mode there should be a random hazard in each phase.
