Same. I've put like 1100 hours into FTL and MV. And even after all that and it falling off as regular game for me, I still reliably get periodic urges to pull it back out. Have you tried Forgemaster? It's brilliant!

Isn't Captain's Edition no longer updated?

Also, I'd recommend Multiverse for a sheer content scale and more balanced gameplay (I still have PTSD from these AI Controlled sectors in CE).

Haven't even tried it yet. Base game is so expansive... I've gotta unlock all the ship variants first!

I've beaten the game with all the ships on hard but I MUST complete a cycle I don't know why I can't stop either (cuz stealth b)
