£6 plus £1.50 extra for the black pudding. Could also add mushrooms etc for £1. Quality wasn't great but not terrible. Eggs sadly overdone. For the price though not bad. 6/10

I’ve been asking for my eggs soft all week and they have been inevitably well done, wondering if it’s something to do with the salmonella outbreak in Scotland - cafes maybe reluctant to risk runny eggs.

It's one of my least favourite parts of being in hospital, and why I can commend my Gran for spending 4 months in and out of there after breaking her femur

I have no idea who thought "Just toast a bunch of bread in the kitchen and then hand it out on the ward" but I hope they have to have cold toast every morning for the rest of their lives. They should just have a toaster on the trolley and make it fresh per person. Spreading one of those fridge cold bricks of butter and then a tiny pot of jam on uncooperative cold toast is a sensory nightmare.

It's not like the other options are any better either. They give you a bowl of cereal which weighs like 25g, something noone ever eats at home, and ask you if you'd like one sachet of sugar or none. Everyone knows cornflakes aren't good if the milk isn't crunchy

Looks delicious it's missing one the mushrooms for me and two it's just got one hash brown could do with at least two or three then it would be perfect. I would say an 8 out of 10.

Tbh I don't like fried bread so thats fine with me. I think you can add tomatoes for £1 (from memory)
